Cocotte's is the name of the restaraunt. This is the web address for the place:
http://www.cocotterestaurant.com/
It is so quaint inside of this place. You can sit at a table right in front of the window, while sipping hot cocoa or your favorite morning beverage while waiting for your fluffy french toast creation. It's divine! The walls are a dark brick, and you are in a room that feels like it is inviting you to linger for the day. The wait staff don't hurry you, either. It is the complete meaning of "ambiance" (hope I spelled that right). If you ever get a chance to try it, I guarantee that you will not be disappointed. You'll be recommending this place to your friends and family on their next visit to New York.

UPDATE- November 2009- Cocotte's closed. When I went to visit last December, it had closed down. A huge disappointment for me. HOWEVER- there is a wonderful Peruvian restaraunt down and across the street- try that- it was great!

This is a picture of the last time that we were in Brooklyn. It was a cold, late November day. This was a beautiful, foggy scene that I couldn't resist capturing with my camera. We were disappointed that Jon was leaving that day and we were staying another one. I just wanted to include it in the blog, as remembrance of the last time I was in New York. I'm really looking forward to this weekend and making more memories.

Thoughts
I'm really excited to start blogging. This is my first attempt at this and I hope that I write something that someone finds interesting. I found about this from Denice, my "fabuloso" friend, who always is in tune with the latest and best things. She always exciting to talk to and to be around.
Denice, her brother Jonathan and our friend, Adrienne, are all heading to NYC this weekend for a quick trip. We are staying with our friends in Brooklyn and are already making plans to eat at some of our favorite places. (One of these is Cocoette's- WONDERFUL Sunday brunch menu!) We are also extremely excited because Jonathan and Carmine, are performing- "Open Mic" in Prospect Park in NYC on Saturday night. We are their greatest fans!
